Car Transport FAQ
Q) What documentation is required to ship my vehicle?
A) We need the original or photocopy of the vehicles log book,a photocopy of the vehicle owners passport and a letter of authority confirming that CarTranSpain can transport the vehicle from the collection address to the intended delivery address.
Q) Is my vehicle insured while in transit?
A) The vehicle is insured against in-transit damage caused by our negligence or equipment failure. A copy of our insurance is available upon request.
Q) What is the method of payment?
A) The usual method of payment is strictly cash on delivery but CarTranSpain will accept bank transfers by prior arrangement so please ask at the time of booking.
Q) Can I put personal belongings in the vehicle?
A) Yes but the vehicle must not be overloaded to the point that it will be unsafe to load onto the transporter. CarTranSpain will not be held responsible for the loss or damage to personal belongings in the vehicle. Our transporters are subject to inspection by Customs at all borders. Under no circumstances can the vehicle contain firearms,hazardous materials,illegal substances or contraband. Please ask what is acceptable to be placed in your vehicle at the time of booking.
Q) Can you provide storage for my car?
A) CarTranSpain can provide secure storage in both the UK and Spain at a very competive rate so please enquire at time of booking.
